Cranksets

$300.00
Take control of your crankset with total modularity at a minimum weight with ROTOR's new ALDHU cranks. These streamlined cranks combine an innovative modular structure with top-tier 7075-aeronautic grade aluminum, allowing you to adjust your axles and chainrings to individually customize your ride based on your needs, and your bike's standards. It begins with the 3D+ CNC machining to ensure unmatched rigidity from spindle to chainrings so you can take control on the roughest roads. The ALDHU is available with two different 30-millimeter spindle options that offer stiff power, and room for rim brakes or disc brakes. A wealth of crank-arm lengths allow you to optimize your power, while OCP Mount technology lets you further fine tune your ride with Q rings. The ALDHU’s proprietary, patent-pending design is based on the modularity of each crankset component. Optimum Chainring Position (OCP) Mount technology allows the rider to fine-tune the orientation of ROTOR’s oval Q Rings by shifting them one degree at a time, finding the right balance in each pedal stroke for smooth power. This enables the rider to utilize the most powerful part of their pedal stroke to propel them further, and allow a touch of relief through the weakest points. The ALDHU's name comes directly from our racing heritage. It is an abbreviation of Alpe d’Huez to commemorate ROTOR’s first iconic victory at the Tour de France with Carlos Sastre. Note: Price is for ALDHU crank arms only, and will require an Axle and Chainrings. Standard ALDHU is not compatible with 24mm ALDHU Axles.

Inspired by the six victories of our athletes at the legendary Cape Epic, we thought it was only appropriate to name our lightest and stiffest crank ever after our most successful mountain bike race to date — and thus the ROTOR Kapic was born. Arguably the most prestigious marathon stage race, the Cape Epic sends riders into grueling, rocky climbs, forested singletrack, and rock-laced descents that require a crank that delivers stiffness and control that won't waiver under pressure, and we've crafted the Kapic to do just that. Much like our popular Hawk Crankset, the new Kapic is designed with an innovative modular system that allows you to select each crank component individually, based on your unique bike setup and your own physical characteristics. It features the same spline interface as the Hawk, so you can utilize the strength of Hawk chainrings, but combines with a weight-saving Kapic spindle to lighten your ride, and lighter crank arms for almost a half-pound of weight savings when compared to the Hawk. We designed the Kapic with Direct Mount technology that features a spline interface that connects the crank arm, axle, and chainring, allowing simple assembly and disassembly of your crankset. This enables you to choose the perfect chainring size for each ride, and easily remove and install a chainring with a single bolt. But the versatility of Direct Mount doesn't stop at modularity, it also enables us to employ Optimal Chainring Positioning (OCP), which, when combined with a Q ring, allows you to adjust your chainring position a single degree at a time to precisely configure your crank for maximum power and comfort. Crafted using expert CNC processes, KAPIC is built from 6082-aeronautic-grade aluminum, and includes our Trinity Drilling System, with three internal holes from axle to pedal, giving the dual benefit of an exceptionally light crank with superior stiffness to handle the toughest of MTB routes. The Kapic has been designed to mirror the strength, agility, and speed of Africa's fastest land mammal, so you can soar down the singletrack like a cheetah sprinting after its prey. To pay homage to the home of the race, we gave the Kapic bold aesthetics and iconic patterns that symbolize the geometric designs of tribal Africa. Weight: 365g (170mm arms only), 545g (170mm crankset, boost axle, 32t chainring, and boots) - Ultralight, modular 6082 aluminum arms with exceptional stiffness to weight ratio - OCP direct mount rings allow the rider to configure to their optimum chainring position for maximum power transfer - Axle spindle, spacer, DM ring, and bottom bracket options are available separately - Due to the inset bore location of the pedal threading, some flat pedals with a large inboard bearing may not be compatible with the crankset or crank boots

The R-Hawk checks all the standard boxes for an all-mountain/enduro crank. Like ROTOR’s REX cranks, the R-Hawk is a work of engineering built on the principles of lightweight and rigid, but R-Hawk’s modular concept offers compatibility that meets – and even exceeds – current trends in mountain bike technology. Crank arms will be available independent of an axle and chainrings; there’s no longer a factory-assembled arm+axle, and both crank arms can be removed from the axle. This way the R-Hawk can be mounted to standard, boost, and downhill axles. - Lightweight, modular 6082 aluminum arms with exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio, with the ability to handle the demands of enduro and DH - OCP direct mount rings allow the rider to configure to their optimum chainring position for maximum power transfer - Axle spindle, spacer, DM ring, and bottom bracket options are available separately - Due to the inset bore location of the pedal threading, some flat pedals with a large inboard bearing may not be compatible with the crankset or crank boots
