Gloves

$60.00
A cooling, breathable glove for endurance cycling in hot conditions. Reduced weight proves that "comfortable" and "ultralight" aren't mutually exclusive. Textile research led us to innovations in cooling, durability, and increased comfort-the three main priorities for summer cycling equipment at high-wear touchpoints. We also managed to reduce the weight by 25% compared to our previous summer gloves. An overall increase in breathability and cooling reduces internal friction and irritation from lingering moisture while ensuring the inevitable perspiration of summer cycling doesn't interfere with a secure grip on the hoods.

The staple for riding in the transitional seasons, provides mid-level insulation and light padding without erasing bar feel. In the age of smart trainers and social training simulators, many of us spend winters training indoors. The Spring Fall Gloves are a bellwether for that approach, maintaining warmth and dry, breathable comfort in cool-to-cold conditions and, when conditions exceed their insulating capacity, letting us know when it's time to retire to the pain cave for winter. The brushed Lycra material is the same as the insulating liner in our Ultraz gloves. It's appropriate for both applications because of its lightly insulating and moisture-wicking properties. Pull tabs make for easy on/off, despite a sleek, anatomically precise cut that eliminates bunching. An extended cuff reduces gaps between glove and sleeve.

Full-finger protection and fatigue-battling comfort result from countless hours on the trail, testing new materials and patterns. This gave Assos an idea of where hot spots tend to develop and how some hands actually favor certain positions more than others, helping to fine-tune the gloves’ panels. As such, these are cut to form a curved 3D structure, mimicking the intricate anatomical structure of the human hand as it grips the bars. The result? Targeted support where you need it, and less weight where you don’t. These gloves use a durable 3D Mesh on the palm, covered with light, perforated padding at the top and outer section, plus the thumb, where hands tend to “weight” the bar. The fingertips have also been wrapped in a tough double layer, with silicone treatment on the first two fingers for brake lever control. The flexible cuff molds to your wrist, providing a near-custom fit without any irritation.
